Formwork magnets

Formwork magnets are used in the production of concrete precast elements as stops for formwork and as holders for anchoring or installation elements. Permanent magnets can be unscrewed after concreting. Some magnets we are preparing are switchable. All magnets have a protective layer of yellow zinc plating for corrosion protection and a metric thread for mounting accessories. Make your concreting easier.

Formwork magnets, stops and holders for precast and concreting

Formwork magnets of the series serve in the production of concrete precast elements as stops for formwork and simultaneously as holders for anchoring or installation elements that need to be concreted into the part.

You can clip the magnets directly onto the steel formwork plate, and screw accessories into the metric thread in the upper pin – for example, a stop adapter, a lifting eye, a T-handle, or an electrical installation part.

Formwork magnet, also known as formwork magnet or rebar magnet, is used for quick fastening of templates and cast-in elements to the steel form.

The magnets are reusable and save time during formwork assembly and disassembly. Thanks to the metric thread, they offer great flexibility – you can connect various fixtures or adapters to them as needed.

The use of a release agent simplifies demoulding and extends the life of magnets and forms.

Permanent magnets BM-10, BM-12, BM-16 and BM-20 can be unscrewed from the cast element after concreting. Switchable magnets can also be deactivated by the upper pin and lever – this facilitates precise positioning of the magnet during assembly and its removal from the form after the concrete has cured.

Features of Formwork Magnets

  • Magnets made from NdFeB have a high holding force.
  • Yellow zinc plating protects the surface against corrosion.
  • Bevelled edges simplify removal after concreting.
  • All models have a metric thread for mounting accessories.

Model Overview

  • BM-10: Ø 50 × 8 mm, 115 g, permanent.
  • BM-12: Ø 50 × 8 mm, 117 g, permanent.
  • BM-16: Ø 50 × 8 mm, 126 g, permanent.
  • BM-20: Ø 54 × 10 mm, 184 g, permanent.

Formwork magnets are a practical and reusable solution for the production of concrete panels and other prefabricated parts.

They combine the function of formwork stops and holders for anchoring or installation elements. Thanks to the strong NdFeB magnet, they hold firmly to the steel formwork plate and allow precise positioning of accessories that need to be concreted.

You can attach various accessories to the formwork magnets, such as adapters, lifting beams, magnetic facet strips, insert magnets for mounting, for example, electrical boxes or installation elements.

Permanent formwork magnets are used where simple fastening is sufficient. After the concrete has cured, you unscrew the magnet from the cast part and use it again. The switchable models can be operated by the upper pin – you activate the magnet by pressing and easily release it with a special lever after demoulding.

Yellow zinc plating protects the magnets against corrosion and chamfered edges facilitate removal from the concrete. All variants have a metric thread, into which you can screw stop adapters, lifting eyes, T-handles, or installation elements according to your specific needs.

Formwork magnets speed up the production of prefabricated panels and other concrete elements.
