Samarium Cobalt SmCo Magnets – Resistant to High Temperatures and Corrosion
Samarium-cobalt SmCo magnets are used in engineering, electrical engineering, and also in space. They are among the very strong magnets, resistant to temperatures up to 250–300 °C, but brittle and less resistant to tensile forces, prone to chipping.
They resist corrosion very well, which means they do not need surface treatment. Samarium SmCo magnets are also resistant to the effects of external demagnetizing fields, making them suitable for electromechanical applications. Choose a suitable size and type.
