Shuttering magnet BM-10 – stop and holder for precast elements

Formwork magnet BM-10 is a tool for the production of concrete precast elements. It combines two functions – a formwork stop and a holder for cast-in elements.

Formwork magnet, also known as a formwork magnet or rebar magnet, is used for quick fastening of templates and cast-in elements to the steel form. The magnets are reusable and save time during formwork assembly and disassembly.

The magnet is attached to the steel formwork panel and holds firmly during concreting. Into the M10 thread in the upper pin, you screw the attachment as needed: a stop adapter for template mounting, a suspension eye, a T-handle, or an installation part.

The magnet is permanent, the magnetic force cannot be turned off. On the other side, there is a hexagonal hole inside the screw for an Allen key.

Tip: Stronger formwork magnets BM-16 and BM-20 are switchable.

After pouring the concrete, the magnet secures the attachment in the precise position. The concrete flows only around the cast-in element, the magnet remains smooth, and thanks to the release agent, you can easily unscrew it after demolding. The precast element thus contains only the cast-in attachment; the magnet is ready for further use after disassembly.

Using a release agent simplifies demolding and extends the life of magnets and molds.

The yellow galvanized surface protects the magnet against corrosion, and the chamfered edges facilitate removal after concreting. The construction ensures reliable holding on the formwork.
