Hard calcium and magnesium salts accumulate in your appliances

The main component of limescale buildup is hard calcium CaCO3 and magnesium salts, which deposit inside appliances. Limescale primarily forms in appliances with heating elements, such as electric kettles, coffee makers, dishwashers, washing machines, or electric hot water boilers. However, they can also accumulate in the delicate mechanisms of faucets.

A layer of limescale reduces appliance efficiency, increases electricity consumption, and can damage them. This is caused by hard water, which is common in many households.

Installing a domestic water softener takes only a few minutes

You can get the magnetic water softener working in no time. Simply mount it on the cold water supply to your house or apartment, ideally directly after the water meter. It is suitable for installation on plastic or other water pipes with a maximum water temperature of 80 °C.

Caution, the magnetic water softener cannot be installed on steel pipes or other ferromagnetic materials.

The water softener's construction is simple – it consists of two strong neodymium magnets placed opposite each other, which attract each other through the water pipe. For external mounting on the pipe, we supply 2 Allen screws and a key in the package for tightening them.

The MAGIKO Apollo-M magnetic water softener is designed for easy installation without the need to disconnect the water pipe. Compact dimensions of 55 × 45 × 36 mm and a low weight of 155 g allow for easy installation on any incoming plastic pipe with a diameter of up to 20 mm.

Thanks to N45 magnetization, the MAGIKO Apollo-M magnetic water softener generates a strong magnetic induction of 7500 Gs (750 mT).

Installation is easy, without dismantling or re-connecting the water pipe, which is usually required for flow-through water softeners.

How does a magnetic water softener work?

Strong magnets influence the water flowing through the pipe. From a physical perspective, the water remains the same. The content of mineral salts, measurable hardness, and conductivity do not change. However, the strong magnetic field changes the crystalline structure of the minerals in the water.

After water treatment, limescale tends to deposit less in appliances. This treated water can even gradually dissolve existing deposits.

There is currently no study on the effects of long-term drinking of water treated by a magnetic softener; however, the mineral content and chemical composition of the water remain the same.
