Caution, the magnetic water softener cannot be installed on steel pipes or other ferromagnetic materials.

The composition of the water softener is simple – it consists of two opposing strong neodymium magnets that attract each other through the water pipe. For external mounting on the pipe, 4 Allen screws and a key are included for tightening.

The Magiko Y2-M central water softener is designed for simple installation without the need to disconnect the water pipes. Compact dimensions of 108 × 72 mm and a low weight of only 1 kg allow easy placement on any plastic supply pipe with a diameter from 15 to 60 mm.

Thanks to N45 magnetization, the Magiko Y2-M water softener for apartments generates a strong magnetic induction on the surface of 12800 Gs (1280 mT).

Installation does not require disassembling and reconnecting the water pipes, which is usually necessary for a flow-through water softener.

How does a magnetic water softener work?

Strong magnets acting through the water pipe influence the flowing water inside. From a physical point of view, the water still has the same parameters. The content of mineral salts, as well as its measurable hardness and conductivity, remains the same. The effect of a strong magnetic field causes a change in the crystalline structure of the minerals contained in the water.

After water softening in the household, these then have a tendency to deposit less in appliances. This treated water can even gradually dissolve existing deposits.

To date, there is no study available regarding the effects of long-term consumption of water treated by a magnetic softener; however, the mineral content and chemical composition of the water remain the same.
