UNIMAG Magnetic knife rack – apple wood

Do you store kitchen knives in a drawer? They will soon become blunt.

Store knives on the wall, on a magnetic knife holder. We have created UNIMAG – an applewood magnetic knife strip with magnets hidden inside. This way, the knives will stay sharp.

Up to 6 knives can be attached to the strip, which measures 39 × 6 × 2.5 cm.

The applewood is locally sourced. It is a rarity that you would not typically encounter in furniture making. The magnetic bars for Unimagnet were crafted by a small Czech joinery workshop, characterised by a high proportion of handwork and the use of traditional tools. For the surface finish, we chose a high-quality hard-wax oil applied in several layers. It is certified for direct food contact and is also used for children's toys. This ensures the wood surface is well-protected while remaining beautifully natural.

The applewood magnetic strip is made of solid wood; simply apply a thin layer of linseed oil occasionally to revive the grain.

Magnetic bars are also popular with tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts. In workshops, they are used to mount tools on walls. This ensures your tools are always within reach and your workshop stays well-organised. The magnets in the bar are strong enough to hold most common hand tools.

The wooden magnetic bar package includes 2 magnetic mounts with screw recesses, 2 wall plugs and 2 fixing screws. After drilling holes in the wall, you can easily and quickly attach the magnetic holder. Simply snap the magnets on the wall onto the positions prepared on the back of the bar.

Store kitchen knives safely and quickly on the wooden magnetic strip.
