Nickel 99.9%, 1 g
Nickel (Ni) is a silvery-white, hard, and malleable metal with high resistance to corrosion, Latin Niccolum, English Nickel. It is ferromagnetic at normal temperatures and can be easily magnetized. However, it becomes less magnetic at higher temperatures. We supply in 99.9% purity.

The melting point of nickel is approximately 1455 °C, the boiling point is 2913 °C. Nickel occurs in the Earth's crust and core. Pure nickel is rarely found in nature, only in meteorites that have fallen to Earth from space. In nature, nickel occurs in ores – laterites and pentlandite.
Nickel for sale: we supply packaging with a purity of 99.9% in multiples of 1 g.
Nickel is a very important element for the production of stainless steel and alloys used in the aerospace, electronics, construction, and chemical industries. It is also used for minting coins. Nickel batteries are used in many applications, such as flashlights, toys, and electronic devices.
Nickel has interesting magnetic properties. It is ferromagnetic at normal temperatures and can be easily magnetized. But it becomes less magnetic at higher temperatures. These properties are used in various applications, for electromagnets as well as permanent magnets.
Some studies suggest that long-term exposure to nickel can cause various diseases.
Interestingly, in 2013, polar explorers in Antarctica found a meteorite with an unusually high nickel content and a metallic core made mainly of nickel. They named it Bunburra Rockhole, and it belongs to the class of iron meteorites.
Currently, scientists are researching the possibilities of using nickel in batteries for electric vehicles, which could lead to a decrease in the use of other metals such as lithium and cobalt.
