NEOMAX-3030 magnetic chuck 300 × 300 mm, force approx. 25 kN

Permanent Magnetic Chuck NEOMAX-3030 for clamping steel and cast iron workpieces on machining tables and machines. The magnetic field is created by permanent magnets; no electrical power supply is required.

The magnetic field is switched on or off by rotating the control lever. Once activated, the chuck holds the workpiece throughout the machining process without consuming electrical energy. The total magnetic force reaches approx. 25.6 kN.

The clamping surface size of 300 × 300 mm is suitable for small and medium-sized workpieces. The chuck contains 121 magnetic poles to distribute the magnetic force across the entire working surface.

How the permanent magnetic chuck works

Inside the chuck is a system of permanent magnets. By turning the control lever, you activate the magnetic circuit, thereby directing the magnetic field onto the working surface or, conversely, deactivating it.

The magnetic chuck is designed for clamping ferromagnetic materials, structural steel, tool steel, or cast iron. Other metals will not be attracted to the chuck or only very weakly.

Use of the magnetic chuck

You can use the Permanent Magnetic Chuck NEOMAX-3030 for example:

• on milling machines,
• on surface grinders,
• on drilling machines,
• in machining centres,
• on workshop fixtures.

Magnetic clamping leaves the top surface of the workpiece freely accessible, which facilitates machining without the use of traditional vices or mechanical clamps.
