NEOMAX-2040 magnetic chuck 200 × 400 mm, force approx. 25 kN

Permanent Magnetic Chuck NEOMAX-2040 for clamping steel and cast iron workpieces on machine tables and machinery. The magnetic field is created by permanent magnets; no electrical power supply is required.

The magnetic field is switched on or off by rotating the control lever. Once activated, the chuck holds the workpiece throughout the machining process without consuming electrical energy. The total magnetic force reaches approx. 25 kN.

The clamping surface dimension of 200 × 400 mm is suitable for small and medium-sized workpieces. The clamp contains 112 magnetic poles to distribute the magnetic force across the entire working surface.

How the permanent magnetic chuck works

Inside the chuck is a system of permanent magnets. By rotating the control lever, you activate the magnetic circuit, bringing the magnetic field to the working surface or, conversely, deactivating it.

The magnetic chuck is designed for clamping ferromagnetic materials, structural steel, tool steel, or cast iron. Other metals will not be attracted to the chuck or only very weakly.

Use of the magnetic chuck

You can use the permanent magnetic chuck NEOMAX-2040, for example:

• on milling machines,
