Product description

Magnetic roller - Neodymium magnet T-05-10-N

Neodymium roller with nickel-plated surface, 5 mm diameter and 10 mm height, weighs only 1.47 grams. Even so, thanks to its magnetic force of 950 grams, it can hold 6 to 8 sheets of paper at once on a magnetic board or metal strip.

This strong neodymium magnet can also be used for:

  • Attaching delicate mechanics
  • Attaching documents and sheets of paper to a magnetic board
  • Magnetic building kits
  • Manufacturing magnetic holders

Attach sheets of paper to the board with the roller magnet, order and try it out.

Neodymium magnets are currently the strongest permanent magnets. They work without electricity and can hold many times their own weight. They are made from a mixture of neodymium, iron, and boron (NdFeB).

Neodymium magnets are suitable for:

  • creating magnetic closures for briefcases, diaries, gift boxes,

  • larger magnets as furniture magnets for cabinet doors,

  • manufacturing magnetic holders for keys, utensils, tools,

  • for fastening and attaching home decorations, curtains,

  • stronger magnets for attaching insect screens to windows,

  • in the study as office magnets,

  • for clipping notes, messages to the fridge or a magnetic board

  • and for many other uses, get inspired on our magnetic blog.

Axial and diametral magnetization

Neodymium magnets can have various magnetization directions. With axial magnetization, the poles are located on opposite surfaces (e.g., on the top and bottom of a disc magnet). In diametral magnetization, the poles are on opposite sides, on the circumference of the magnet. The direction of magnetization is important for the correct function of the magnet in a specific application.

Maximum operating temperature of magnets

Standard neodymium magnets can be used up to a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C. If you need magnets for higher temperatures, more resistant variants of neodymium magnets are available up to 200 °C, according to the table of physical data. For demanding conditions where even greater thermal resistance is required, use heat-resistant AlNiCo and SmCo magnets.

A few tips for choosing the right magnet

  • Neodymium magnets can have the shape of discs, cylinders and rods, cubes, cuboids, spheres, cones, rings.
