Neodymium ring magnet Ø 27/16 mm, h. 5 mm, strength 11 kg
Round neodymium magnet – a ring with an outer diameter of 27 mm and an inner diameter of 16 mm can be used, for example, during physics research for magnetic levitation experiments and for manufacturing magnetic holders.
Some artists use magnetic rings for creating magnetic jewelry and artworks.
Thinking about what to do with coins? Tie the round magnet with a string or shoelace to your trouser loop. Clip the coins to the magnet and then put them in your pocket.
Round magnets are also used by interior designers and stylists, for example, for attaching and tying curtains – tie the ends of the ribbon to two round magnets. Wrap the ribbon around the rolled-up curtain and snap the magnets together.
A round-shaped neodymium magnet is also useful in the workshop. When you wrap it with tape and attach it to the iron around the drilled hole, metal shavings will stick to it during drilling and will not fly around.
Tip: For gluing magnets, use, for example, UHU Max Repair Universal Adhesive.
Inspiration for using round magnets – use them:
-
for making magnetic holders, stands,
-
for attaching home decorations, curtains,
-
for experiments with magnetic levitation in physics,
-
in the workshop for capturing flying metal shavings during drilling,
-
into a pocket as a magnetic coin purse.
Thanks to a magnetic force of 11 kg, the ring magnet can hold even smaller utensils.
Warning: The hole in ring magnets may tempt you to screw them in. Neodymium magnets are brittle, however, and can crack if overtightened. For screwing, it is better to use more durable ring magnets in a metal casing.
Tip: Some ring magnets are magnetized diametrically, with magnetic poles on the side, for example KR-10-05-05-DN or KR-20-06-08-N.
Might be useful:
-
Create a magnetic aid when drilling into iron to prevent shavings from flying around
-
Where to put coins? Create a magnetic wallet for change in your pocket
-
Are your headphone cords pulling on your ears? Make a magnetic flap, holder
Caution, strong magnets are not suitable for children.
