Black encapsulated magnetic disc – the neodymium magnet in plastic is waterproof, also suitable for outdoor use. It has a hole in the middle with a diameter of 5.1 mm, for example, for threading onto a rod or cable. The protective polypropylene encapsulation protects the surface of the bearing area from scratches.

The magnet is neodymium (NdFeB), has a diameter of 25.5 mm, a height of 6.5 mm, and a magnetic force of approx. 7.2 kg.

The waterproof neodymium magnet is suitable:

• for outdoor use on magnetic holders for smaller tools,

• for magnetic closures in damp areas, laundry rooms, steam rooms with a max. temperature of 150 °C,

• thanks to its washability for production and catering facilities,

• for attaching nets, curtains in caravaning and on yachts,

• for production and warehouse use on a magnetic board, panel, for an overview of order progress,

• for use outdoors, it is resistant to natural influences.

The encapsulated neodymium disc has N38SH magnetization, weight 16 g. For use in humid conditions, it is encapsulated in plastic, polypropylene (PP).

Neodymium ring magnets with a hole are the ideal choice for threading onto rods, ropes or wires, but they also work great as secure mounts. If you are attaching them with a screw, remember that neodymium magnets are a brittle material – therefore, always tighten the screws "gently" and do not exceed the maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm to prevent the magnet from cracking.
