Neodymium ring magnet Ø 18/9.5-4.5 mm, h. 4 mm, M4, pull force 4 kg
How to discreetly and securely attach circular magnets? Use a special type of neodymium ring with a countersunk screw hole. Thanks to a magnetic force of 4 kg, it can hold even small tools.
You can use the circular magnet with a hole, for example:
-
for hanging signs with inscriptions, advertisements, banners,
-
for magnetic stops on kitchen cabinets and furniture doors,
-
for the production of advertising stands in stores and POS,
-
as small holders for lighter utensils and tools,
-
for attaching wooden or sheet metal cladding,
-
for installing ceiling lights,
-
for attaching curtains and home accessories,
-
for installing magnetic insect screens.
Tip: If you need stronger and more durable ring magnets, use a magnetic ring with a countersunk recess in a metal casing.
The neodymium magnet is nickel-plated (Ni-Cu-Ni) for greater corrosion resistance. You can attach the magnet using countersunk screws with a slot, wood screws, Torx screws, or countersunk screws with an internal hexagon. As a washer – counterpiece or stop, use steel disc SB-18.
Mount the magnet with a hole in moments and create your magnetic closure.

Please read the enclosed instructions before handling strong neodymium magnets to avoid accidental injury or pinched fingers. Strong magnets are not for children.
Neodymium ring magnets with a hole are an ideal choice for threading onto rods, ropes or wires, but they also work great as secure fixtures. If you are attaching them with a screw, remember that neodymium magnets are a brittle material – therefore, always tighten the screws "gently" and do not exceed the maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm to prevent the magnet from cracking.
Neodymium magnets are currently the strongest permanent magnets. They work without electricity and can hold many times their own weight. They are made from a mixture of neodymium, iron, and boron (NdFeB).
Neodymium magnets are suitable for:
-
creating magnetic closures for briefcases, diaries, gift boxes,
-
larger magnets as furniture magnets for cabinet doors,
-
manufacturing magnetic holders for keys, utensils, tools,
-
for fastening and attaching home decorations, curtains,
-
stronger magnets for attaching insect screens to windows,
-
in the study as office magnets,
-
for clipping notes, messages to the fridge or a magnetic board

Axial and diametral magnetization
Neodymium magnets can have various magnetization directions. With axial magnetization, the poles are located on opposite surfaces (e.g., on the top and bottom of a disc magnet). In diametral magnetization, the poles are on opposite sides, on the circumference of the magnet. The direction of magnetization is important for the correct function of the magnet in a specific application.
Maximum operating temperature of magnets
Standard neodymium magnets can be used up to a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C. If you need magnets for higher temperatures, more resistant variants of neodymium magnets are available up to 200 °C, according to the table of physical data. For demanding conditions where even greater thermal resistance is required, use heat-resistant AlNiCo and SmCo magnets.
We are gradually expanding information about magnets.
A few tips for choosing the right magnet
-
Neodymium magnets can have the shape of discs, cylinders and rods, cubes, cuboids, spheres, cones, rings.
-
You can glue magnets with UHU MAX REPAIR universal adhesive.
-
There are also sewing magnets or magnets with a hole for screwing.
-
For quick attachment, use self-adhesive magnets.
-
For more demanding use and greater durability, we recommend using magnetic holders in a protective metal casing.
-
Also available are rubberized magnetic holders, which will protect the supporting surface from scratches.
-
For outdoor magnet use, waterproof magnets in plastic or rubberized are suitable.
