Neodymium magnet cube 12 mm, strength approx. 8.2 kg
Strong Neodymium Magnetic Cube KS-12-N
A strong cube made of neodymium, which, when attached to a metal surface, can serve as a holder for tools, paint cans, and wrenches. Just like ball magnets, the neodymium cube will firmly connect a stack of papers, attach documents to a magnetic board.
The nickel-plated cubic neodymium magnet weighs 13 grams, with dimensions of 12 × 12 × 12 mm, it achieves a magnetic force of over 8 kg.
This strong neodymium magnet can also be used for:
- Clamping and holding systems
- Attaching documents to a magnetic board, advertising signs
- Fastening tools to a metal surface
Attach an advertising sign to a metal surface or tools in the workshop in a moment.
Neodymium magnets are currently the strongest permanent magnets. They work without electricity and can hold many times their own weight. They are made from a mixture of neodymium, iron, and boron (NdFeB).
Neodymium magnets are suitable for:
-
creating magnetic closures for briefcases, diaries, gift boxes,
-
larger magnets as furniture magnets for cabinet doors,
-
manufacturing magnetic holders for keys, utensils, tools,
-
for fastening and attaching home decorations, curtains,
-
stronger magnets for attaching insect screens to windows,
-
in the study as office magnets,
-
for clipping notes, messages to the fridge or a magnetic board

Axial and diametral magnetization
Neodymium magnets can have various magnetization directions. With axial magnetization, the poles are located on opposite surfaces (e.g., on the top and bottom of a disc magnet). In diametral magnetization, the poles are on opposite sides, on the circumference of the magnet. The direction of magnetization is important for the correct function of the magnet in a specific application.
Maximum operating temperature of magnets
Standard neodymium magnets can be used up to a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C. If you need magnets for higher temperatures, more resistant variants of neodymium magnets are available up to 200 °C, according to the table of physical data. For demanding conditions where even greater thermal resistance is required, use heat-resistant AlNiCo and SmCo magnets.

A few tips for choosing the right magnet
-
Neodymium magnets can have the shape of discs, cylinders and rods, cubes, cuboids, spheres, cones, rings.
-
You can glue magnets with UHU MAX REPAIR universal adhesive.
-
There are also sewing magnets or magnets with a hole for screwing.
-
For quick attachment, use self-adhesive magnets.
-
For more demanding use and greater durability, we recommend using magnetic holders in a protective metal casing.
-
Also available are rubberized magnetic holders, which will protect the supporting surface from scratches.
-
For outdoor magnet use, waterproof magnets in plastic or rubberized are suitable.
