Magnetix MTX-8 (2 × 2) is an expansion set that will take children's magnetic building to a new level of speed and stability. If your children love building tall towers, extensive castles or giant houses, you probably know that a solid foundation and fast wall erection are key to success.

The set contains 8 large square panels. Each of the magnetic parts is four times larger than a standard basic square of a magnetic building set. This allows structures to grow quickly.

Do you know that disappointment when a child's tall tower collapses just before completion? Large 2 × 2 panels act as reinforcing floors between individual storeys or as base plates on a carpet. Strong integrated magnets are placed around the entire perimeter and in the internal grid of the panels, ensuring a firm connection with other classic pieces.

Compatible with Magnetix and Connetix

The pieces from the MTX-8 set fit standard magnetic building set dimensions (one large panel corresponds to the size of 2 × 2 standard Magnetix and Connetix squares). You can combine them with brands Connetix, Magna-Tiles and other magnetic building set equivalents with pieces measuring 75 × 75 mm.

How to make the most of Magnetix 2 × 2 panels?

• As a solid base (a road or a meadow) on the ground, where children can build, for example, a skyscraper.
• For ceilings, walls and floors of multi-storey houses – it will even support small toys and figures.
• For rapid assembly of large cubes and boxes that can serve as garages for toy cars or secret hideouts.
• For teaching geometry and fractions – children can see directly how many smaller squares or triangles are needed to cover one large panel area.

Tip: With your children, use the eight large pieces to build two large open boxes side by side to create a storage box for smaller toys.
