Serves to visualize magnetic field lines during various attempts and experiments. Using a simple principle, this powder arranges itself to display magnetic field lines. Just pour it onto a surface and it will immediately show you the magnitude and direction of the field lines.

Iron powder is the simplest means of visualizing magnetic force lines. See also other photos. We recommend placing a magnet or magnets under glass or at least a sheet of paper and then sprinkling filings over them. This way the filings can be easily separated from the magnet again. Caution: Do not rub your eyes with filings on your fingers. You will receive 250 grams in a resealable plastic bag.
Iron powder with a higher silicon content - ferrosilicon (14 - 16% silicon). Iron powder is corrosion-resistant thanks to silicon.
