Glow-in-the-dark paint GlowPaint 0.25 l
How to illuminate a wall without electricity? Charge it with the light of a flashlight and turn it off. Mysterious patterns, invisible during the day, will start to glow and emit a greenish light – if you paint them on the wall with GlowPaint beforehand.
GlowPaint is a water-based acrylic paint. It contains a special pigment that glows in the dark, emitting a soft greenish glow. The paint is odorless, safe, and lead-free. You can apply it to the wall with a brush, a paint roller, or spray it on large areas with a paint sprayer. Coverage of a 0.25-liter can is 2.5 m2 of surface area.
The more layers you apply, the more pronounced the glow will be; we recommend 3–4 layers.
Up to 25 hours of glow – How does luminous paint work?
GlowPaint acrylic paint contains small particles of a special pigment that absorbs the UV component of light. This is not visible to the eye, but the paint can accumulate it and thus 'charge' itself. When it gets dark, the coating will start to glow, emitting a subtle greenish luminescence. If you illuminate the painted motifs with light for at least 30 minutes, the paint will glow for up to 25 hours after the light is turned off, depending on the intensity of the illumination.
GlowPaint is transparent, it is not visible during the day
GlowPaint is transparent. Therefore, you can paint it over a colored wall or patterns without visually altering the appearance of the substrate. Its glowing property will only become apparent after dark. The greatest effect is achieved if you apply the paint to a white background.
Tip: GlowPaint is not magnetic; magnets will not stick to it. If you are looking for a paint to create a ferromagnetic wall, use magnetic paint.
GlowPaint luminous paint is suitable for:
-
painting mysterious patterns, animals, and murals on bedroom or children's room walls, the outlines of which then glow with a soft greenish light in the dark,
-
creating a luminous night sky on your ceiling at home, as well as in relaxation and massage studios, wellness, and spas,
-
creating and "illuminating" larger areas in music and sports clubs,
-
increasing safety when there is a power outage and the lighting does not work – as a safety coating for emergency doors, marking escape routes,
-
applying to furniture parts, for designers, stylists, architects,
-
in art for creating original works,
-
for car tuning enthusiasts to create an interesting interior.
Tip for creatives: If you apply a different number of layers of GlowPaint to a part of the wall or painting, it will glow with varying intensity. You can thus create paintings with different luminous tonalities and highlight main motifs, for example.
Create magical, mysterious patterns that light up in the dark.
