The disc ferrite magnet has a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, but it is resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 6 mm and a height of 9.7 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 150 g, a weight of 1.2 g, and axial magnetisation Y30.

Ferrite magnets are resistant to moisture and common chemical influences. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.
