Ferrite disc magnet Ø 25 mm, h. 3 mm, strength 360 g

Ferrite disc is a type of permanent ceramic magnet. Compared to neodymium magnets, it has a lower magnetic strength, but it is highly resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 25 mm and a height of 3 mm has a magnetic pull of approximately 360 g, a weight of 7.2 g, and axial magnetisation Y30.

The larger diameter and small height create a wide contact surface while maintaining a low profile. The magnet can therefore be easily recessed into wood, plastics, or other materials, where its height will not interfere. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

The low-profile design is particularly suitable where a discreet magnetic joint with a larger contact area is required. The magnet finds application in the manufacture of furniture, exhibition systems, magnetic closures, or various technical fixtures.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
