Ferrite disc magnet Ø 20 mm, height 3 mm, strength 400 g

Ferrite disc is a type of permanent ceramic magnet. Compared to neodymium magnets, it has a lower magnetic strength, but it is highly resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 20 mm and a height of 3 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 400 g, a weight of 4.6 g and axial magnetisation Y30.

The 20 mm diameter creates a sufficiently large contact area, while the low height allows for easy embedding into wood, plastics or other materials. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

Thanks to its larger diameter, the magnet is well suited for magnetic closures, retaining elements or assembly jigs. It is also used in the production of information panels, exhibition systems or various technical products.

You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.

The large diameter and low height allow for easy embedding into the material and create a sufficient contact area for magnetic closures, retaining elements and technical structures.
