Ferrite disc magnet Ø 20 mm, h. 5 mm, strength 650 g

Ferrite disc is a type of permanent ceramic magnet. Compared to neodymium magnets, it has a lower magnetic strength, but it is highly resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 20 mm and a height of 5 mm has a magnetic strength of approximately 650 g, a weight of 7.1 g and axial magnetisation Y30.

A greater height means a larger volume of ferrite material than in a lower disc of the same diameter. Thus, the magnet achieves a higher holding force and is suitable for more demanding technical applications. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used outdoors or in areas with higher air humidity. The ferrite magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even during long-term use.

Thanks to the balanced diameter-to-height ratio, this ceramic magnet offers a wide range of applications. It is used in the production of magnetic holders, closures, mounting fixtures or various technical devices. It also serves well as a component in electrical engineering products or measuring and testing fixtures.

You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
