Ferrite disc magnet Ø 18 mm, h. 3 mm, strength 340 g

Disc ferrite magnets have lower magnetic strength compared to neodymium magnets, but they are resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A magnetic disc with a diameter of 18 mm and a height of 3 mm has a magnetic strength of approximately 340 g, a weight of 3.4 g and axial magnetisation Y30.

The larger diameter creates a larger contact area than smaller discs, while the small height makes it easier to embed the magnet into thin materials. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

This disc is suitable for applications where magnetic force needs to be distributed over a larger area while maintaining a low profile. The magnet is used in the production of furniture, magnetic closures, information systems or various technical fixtures.

You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.

The small height of 3 mm makes it easier to embed into thin materials, and the 18 mm diameter provides a larger contact area for magnetic closures, technical fixtures and information systems.
