Ferrite disc magnet Ø 14 mm, h. 3 mm, pull force 260 g

A disc ferrite magnet has a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, but it is resistant to corrosion, moisture, and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 14 mm and a height of 3 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 260 g, a weight of 2.1 g, and axial magnetisation Y30.

Ferrite magnets are resistant to moisture and common chemical influences. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

The small height of 3 mm allows the magnet to be easily recessed into thin materials without significantly increasing their thickness. The 14 mm diameter provides a larger contact area than the smallest discs, making the magnet suitable for discreet magnetic joints, closures, or various structural elements.

You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.

The small height of 3 mm facilitates the recessing of the magnet into thin materials, while the 14 mm diameter provides sufficient contact area for light magnetic joints and closures.
