Ferrite disc magnet Ø 12 mm, h. 6 mm, strength 150 g

Ferrite magnets have a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, but they are resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A magnetic disc with a diameter of 12 mm and a height of 6 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 150 g, a weight of 2.9 g and weaker axial magnetisation Y10T for specific projects.

Ferrite magnets are resistant to moisture and common chemical influences. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

This magnetic disc has Y10T magnetisation, which generates a lower magnetic force than the commonly used Y30 magnetisation. It is therefore primarily suitable for light magnetic joints, teaching aids, simple magnetic closures or applications where a high holding force is not required.

A diameter of 12 mm combined with a height of 6 mm creates a universal shape for common technical and hobby use.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y10T with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
