Ferrite disc magnet Ø 12 mm, h. 10 mm, strength 550 g

A ferrite disc magnet is magnetically weaker than neodymium magnets, but it is significantly cheaper, naturally corrosion-resistant, and additionally withstands temperatures up to 250 °C.

Ferrite, ceramic magnets are suitable for purposes where extra strong magnetic adhesion and a metallic glossy aesthetic appearance are not required. They have a dark gray-black color without surface treatment.

Ferrite is resistant to environmental influences and external conditions, so it is also suitable for outdoor use.

The disc magnet is made of strontium oxides – ferrites, has a diameter of 12 mm and a height of 10 mm, a magnetic force of 550 g, and a weight of only 5.1 grams.

Ferrite magnets are suitable:

• for outdoor use, they are corrosion-resistant,

• for craft and DIY projects, furniture production,

• as simple magnets for the fridge and magnetic board,

• suitable for older children, they are safer than neodymium magnets (small children should not handle any magnets),

• in the production of electrical engineering, electric motors and generators, speakers or in sensors.

You can glue the magnet using magnet adhesive.

Warning: Never bring ferrite magnets close to neodymium magnets, as they may become demagnetized.

The ferrite magnet has Y30 magnetization and is magnetized axially, with poles on the flat sides.
