Ferrite disc magnet Ø 10 mm, h. 3 mm, strength 200 g

A disc ferrite magnet has a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, but it is resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. A disc with a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 3 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 200 g, a weight of 1.1 g and axial magnetisation Y30.

Ferrite magnets are resistant to moisture and common chemical influences. The ceramic material does not corrode, so the magnet can also be used in outdoor environments or in places with higher air humidity. The magnet requires no surface treatment and retains its properties even with long-term use.

The low height of 3 mm makes it easy to embed the magnet into wood, plastics or thin structural parts. The magnet is used in the production of magnetic closures, promotional items, simple holders or various hobby products where high magnetic force is not required.

Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.

The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30 with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
