Ferrite block magnet 40 × 40 × 10 mm, pull force 4.3 kg
Although rectangular ferrite magnets have a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, they are resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. The block measuring 40 × 40 × 10 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 4.3 kg, a weight of 72 g and Y30 magnetisation.
Ferrite magnets retain their properties even when used in outdoor environments. The ceramic material does not corrode without a surface treatment; the magnet requires no further rust protection and resists common weather conditions.
The square shape with a larger contact area facilitates even attachment to steel surfaces. The magnet is suitable for the production of magnetic fixtures, clamping tools, fasteners or technical equipment. It is also used in electrical engineering.
Ferrite magnets are suitable:
- for outdoor use, as they resist corrosion,
- for the production of magnetic fixtures and clamping tools,
- as magnetic closures for larger doors, covers or service panels,
- for various electrical engineering equipment,
- for attaching medium-weight objects to steel surfaces,
- for workshop and DIY projects,
- for physics and electrotechnical experiments,
- for the production of technical equipment and structural units.
You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.
Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.
The ferrite magnet has axial magnetisation Y30, with the poles located on opposite flat surfaces.
The larger contact area and magnetic force of 4.3 kg of this block make it a suitable magnet for workshop fixtures, technical equipment and long-term outdoor use.
