Ferrite block magnet 30 × 20 × 5 mm, 1.2 kg pull force
Although rectangular ferrite magnets have a lower magnetic force compared to neodymium magnets, they are resistant to corrosion, moisture, and temperatures up to 250 °C. A block measuring 30 × 20 × 5 mm has a magnetic pull of approximately 1.2 kg, a weight of 14 g, and a magnetization of Y30.
Ferrite magnets are used where maximum holding force is not required, but long-term functionality and resistance to the environment are essential. The ceramic material does not corrode without a surface finish, meaning the magnet functions perfectly in damp or outdoor environments.
The 30 × 20 mm size provides a larger contact area than smaller blocks, which is beneficial for manufacturing magnetic jigs, lightweight holders, or closures. The 5 mm thickness also makes it easier to embed the magnet into wooden, plastic, or metal structures.
Ferrite magnets are suitable:
- for outdoor use, as they resist corrosion,
- for manufacturing magnetic closures and latches,
- for workshop jigs and aids,
- for attaching lightweight objects,
- for producing magnetic boards and information systems,
- for model making and hobby projects,
- for school teaching, physics and electrical engineering experiments,
- for collecting small metal components,
- for creative and craft production.
You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.
Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.
The ferrite magnet has a magnetisation of Y30 and is axially magnetised with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
The 30 × 20 × 5 mm ferrite block magnet is suitable for producing magnetic closures, workshop jigs, and anywhere where moisture resistance and long-term functionality are important.
