Ferrite block magnet 25 × 20 × 8 mm, 1.3 kg strength
While a rectangular ferrite magnet has less magnetic force than neodymium magnets, it is resistant to corrosion, moisture and temperatures up to 250 °C. The block measuring 25 × 20 × 8 mm has a magnetic force of approximately 1.3 kg, a weight of 19 g and axial magnetisation Y30.
Ferrite magnets are primarily used where long service life, moisture resistance and a favourable price are decisive. The ceramic material does not corrode without a surface treatment, so the magnet is also suitable for outdoor environments or places with increased humidity.
The 8 mm height ensures a higher magnetic force than thin blocks, making the magnet suitable for producing simple jigs, magnetic closures or various technical aids. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it can be easily embedded in wood, plastics and other materials.
Ferrite magnets are suitable:
- for outdoor use, as they resist corrosion,
- as magnetic closures for doors, cabinets or boxes,
- for the production of workshop jigs and aids,
- for DIY and hobby projects,
- for model making and the production of various kits,
- for magnetic boards and information systems,
- for school teaching, physics and electrical engineering experiments,
- for collecting small metal components,
- for creative and artistic work.
You can glue the magnet using magnet glue.
Warning: Do not bring weaker ferrite magnets close to strong neodymium magnets, as this may lead to the demagnetisation of the ferrite magnet.
The ferrite magnet has Y30 axial magnetisation, with poles on opposite flat surfaces.
A thicker rectangular magnet is suitable where extreme magnetic force is not required, but corrosion resistance, long service life and reliable functionality are decisive.
